was held in Florence
with assistance of Italy-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce.
Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to
Uzbekistan, Le Van Toan,
completed his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan. After working in this
position for three and a half years, he contributed to the process of deepening
the Uzbek-Vietnamese relations.
The Uzbek-Chinese Dictionary was
published containing similar idiomatic expressions of the two peoples. The
author of the book is Li Ja Mei, a researcher at the Confucius Institute,
functioning at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies.
Uzbekistan has taken part in the International Tourism Fair
Balttour-2011 held in the Latvian capital Riga.
Over 600 participants from 34 countries, among them Uzbektourism, presented the
opportunities of their countries.
A traditional international
tourism fair Asia Fair-2011 was held in the Belgian city of Vemmele,
in which Uzbekistan
has presented the country’s tourism potential.
