The Aral crisis is subject of concern for the
international community
The United States hosted an international seminar on
"Lessons of the Aral Sea Disaster" organized by the Permanent Mission
of Uzbekistan to the UN and the Institute for Environmental Studies at the Ramapo
College (NJ).
Representatives of political, scientific and business
communities of foreign countries, commenting on the announcement in 2012 in Uzbekistan “Year
of Family”, noted the commitment of the Government of the Republic, all
necessary conditions to ensure the strength of the family.
As previously reported, a delegation of the People’s
