article ‘Uzbekistan:
A Smooth Transition to Market Economy’.
Uzbekistan was presented at one of the largest
in the world of traditional international trade fair Fruit Logistica 2012,
specializing in the areas of production, storage, processing, packaging,
transportation, and import and export of fruits and vegetables.
Conference
“World of 7 Billion: Challenges and Opportunities of New Millennium” was held
in Tashkent
organized by the Information Office of the United Nations and the UNFPA.
The
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Government of the
Republic of Uzbekistan signed a loan agreement worth 18,076 million yen
(approx. US$220m) for the project Electrification of the Railway Section at Qarshi-Termiz.
According to Chinese experts, no matter how
international and regional situation changes, the Chinese-Uzbek relations have
always been on the rise, allowing for achievement of great successes. As a
result, this provides mutual trust in political terms, mutually beneficial
cooperation in economy and close cooperation in security.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
the Republic of Finland,
with residence in Helsinki Tuula Iryola visited Uzbekistan on a
working visit.
