At Fudan University
in Shanghai, a community of experts discussed
the status and prospects of cooperation between China
and Uzbekistan.
Participants pointed out that notwithstanding
changes of international and regional situations, the Uzbek-Chinese relations
have always developed on the rise. Today the parties work closely within the
UN, SCO and other multilateral forums, making an important contribution to
peace and stability in the region and world at large.

at Fudan University Huashen Zhao said Uzbekistan
to China
is a close neighbor, to whom it is safe to rely on, as it repeatedly proved its
hard follow its commitments and non-susceptibility of opportunistic changes.
Undoubtedly, Beijing and Tashkent have great
prospects in terms of moving many-sided cooperation, taking into account
several important factors, among which the desire for mutual respect and
support of key interests in the international and regional arena, a rich
historical past, the presence of mutual desire of political and business
leaders to build a mutually beneficial partnership.
