Members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
and Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan
paid a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. The delegation consisted

The conference “Implementation of the UN
Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities: Foreign and National
Experience” was held in Tashkent.
The event was organized under the joint project of the Ministry of Labor and
Social Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the UN Development Program
in Uzbekistan, ACCESS, as well as the project of the German Society for
Technical Cooperation “Support for the educational program for people with
disabilities”.
A presentation of the socioeconomic development
of Uzbekistan, investment climate, the country’s achievements during the years
of independence, and implementing the national program “Year of Comprehensively
Advanced Generation” has been held in Luxembourg.
Today in Uzbekistan, tourism is becoming one
of the important areas of culture and dynamically developing sectors of
economy. Strengthening international cooperation in this field expands opportunities
of cultural enrichment of different nations, mutual understanding and
awareness.
