On June 25, Karamay, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous
Region of China, became the venue for the presentation of investment climate of
Uzbekistan, prospects of attracting foreign investments, tourism potential,
activity of the Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan Foundation that carries
out active work in this sphere by organizing various projects attracting huge
number of foreign tourists, specialists, and experts. The action was organized
for members of the People’s government of the town, representatives of Xinjiang
tourism department, as well as business circles.
The
presentation was organized within the 7th Xinjiang International
Tourism Festival in Karamay. Various events of the Festival familiarizing with
the tourist and economic resources of Xinjiang were attended by representatives
of diplomatic offices accredited in China and travel agencies from over
30 countries of the world.
During the
presentation the participants were briefed on the current state of
trade-economic relations between China
an Uzbekistan, investment
climate of Uzbekistan,
guaranties and privileges for foreign investors. Representatives of China and other countries got information about
those advantages offered by the modern economy of Uzbekistan for foreign
companies-investors, as well as about advantages for investors in the Free
Industrial Economic Zone “Navoi.” It was noted that relations between China and Uzbekistan get dynamic development
in tourism as well. It is contributed by the Memorandum of Understanding signed
between two tourism administrations of both countries, as well as organization
by the Fund Forum of major international projects, such as Festival of
Traditional Culture Asrlar Sadosi, Art Week Style.Uz, upcoming Tashkent
International Festival of Modern Cinema, and others.
From every
beginning year Uzbekistan
gets more popular promoted by the right policy of the government directed to
the comprehensive development of the tourism infrastructure. Historical cities
of Uzbekistan Samarqand, Bukhoro, Khiva considering the “pearls of the East”
draw even more interest in tourists from countries of Europe, America and Asia.
Rich architectural and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan,
as well as hospitable people also attract tourists from China.
