A Contrasting Combination
of historical and modern architectural masterpieces
Foreign journalists, visited Uzbekistan within the tour organized by the World Tourism Organization, expressed their impressions from the journey having published interesting and colorful articles about our country.
Guests visited ancient Bukhoro, Samarqand, Khiva and Tashkent, got familiarized with historical and modern places of interest of Uzbekistan, culture, art and traditions of our people.
Articles about Uzbekistan published in printing and electronic editions of UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and Thailand dwell upon tourist routes in Uzbekistan, the country’s location and transport infrastructure. The Germany’s Neues Deutschland underscores that grandeur and perfection of architectural monuments of Samarqand, Bukhoro and Khiva amaze all people across the globe. The author of the article specially notes the rich historical and cultural heritage, unique natural-climate conditions of Uzbekistan that considered one of the important factors attracting foreign tourists. It is widely known that tourism support rose to the state policy.
UK’s online society of travels and tourism industry travelmole.com suggests traveling across Uzbekistan by train in order to see all the riches of the nature and national diversity of all regions. Colorful photos get clearly acquainted readers with historical and cultural monuments, city and nature sceneries.
Thai internet-edition Bangkok Post in the article “Raising the Curtain to central Asia” wrote that Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia took part in the 16th International Tourism fair where the traveling industry of Uzbekistan was also widely represented. “Uzbekistan is a singular and special country with rich cultural and historical heritage, ancient towns, architectural monuments and inimitable color of the Orient. It is no wonder the country attract even more number of foreign tourists by every beginning year with its contrasting combination of historical and modern masterpieces of architecture, hospitality and developed tourist infrastructure.”
