Uzbekistan Hotel hosted a round table on the protection
of the environment and climate change, the value of professional eco-journalism
in the formation of ecological consciousness, organized by the National Association
of Electronic Mass Media (NAEMM) jointly with Konrad Adenauer Foundation in
Uzbekistan.
Accelerated development of the society toward
democracy and the success of the reforms in this direction depend largely on
the level of legal awareness of citizens. This was discussed at a conference at
the National Press
Center of Uzbekistan on ongoing work in
improving the legal culture in society and the immediate tasks in this
direction.
Uzbekistan
assigns a big part to protecting environment and public health, improving the
ecological situation in the country and in regions. Expansion of international
cooperation in environmental protection is one of the priorities of the Ecology
Movement of Uzbekistan.

State Award yearly brings to light
many talented and motivated young women in Uzbekistan, opening up new
possibilities and prospects for them. A solemn ceremony of awarding 14 lucky
winners of the contest from all regions of the country took place on the threshold
of International Women's Day .
The national program Year of Family, approved
by the head of state on February 27, 2012, pays special attention to financial
and moral support for young families, creating incentives and opportunities,
providing them with modern housing. These tasks impose specific
responsibilities to the banking system as well.
