Association of Nongovernmental Nonprofit Organizations of Uzbekistan (NANNOUz)
together with the Institute for the Study of Civil Society (ISSC) conduct
meetings with nongovernmental nonprofit organizations in the regions discussing
the priority areas of activity and consolidation of public organizations’
endeavour in the solution of socially vital issues.
The Cabinet of
Ministers of the Republic
of Uzbekistan held a
regular meeting of the Coordinating Council for Computerization and Information
Communication Technologies Development.
The Public
Fund for Support of Nongovernmental Non-profit Organizations and Other Civil
Society Institutes under Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the next grant tender for mass
media projects.
The grant is aimed
at strengthening independence and sovereignty of mass media.
These days, Uzbekistan’s all regions hold
awarding ceremonies for finalists of qualifying rounds of Kelajak Ovozi (Voice
of the Future) arts and science competition. Two hundred and eight finalists
across the country present their projects, scientific discoveries and creative
works. Talented young men and women were selected from more than 71 thousand
participants who applied for one of the most popular projects of the Fund Forum
and Kamolot (Perfection) youth social movement.
Celebratory festivities have been held in Alisher Navoi National Pak of Uzbekistan occasioned
to the nineteenth anniversary of independence of our Motherland.
