of Uzbekistan has organized a workshop to address the mission of journalists in
protecting young people from the threats posed by ‘mass culture’.
These fall days, Tashkent has turned into a
center of meetings of journalistic community. Two big media events took place
here last week: the international panel discussion on the status and prospects
of production and broadcasting of television and radio programs and the Sixth
National Festival of Social TV and Radio Products.
The 17th International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road-2011”, one of the biggest
international events under the auspices of the UN World Tourism Organization
opened in Tashkent.
