has organized a seminar in Tashkent ‘Study of
the Constitution of the Republic
of Uzbekistan and Human
Rights’.
The lower house of parliament held an academic
conference on the role and importance of the Constitution in the deepening of
democratic reforms and the development of civil society in the country.
Traditionally this year in honor of the
greatest and dearest holiday, the Independence Day, President Islam Karimov
signed a decree awarding our most dedicated and initiative countrymen with state
prizes, orders and medals. On the eve of the 19th anniversary of the
Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan ministries and departments, Council of
Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city administrations held gala
presentations of these awards.

A solemn meeting, occasioned to the 19th
anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and attended by
state and public figures, representatives of science, art and culture, foreign
embassies and representative offices of international organizations accredited
in Uzbekistan, was held on December 7 at the International Forums Palace
Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
