Representatives of the Uzbek Communication and Informatizaton Agency have taken part in the 37th meeting of the heads of Communication Administrations Council of the Regional Communication Commonwealth (RCC Council) which took place in the Latvian Jurmala resort city.
The primary attention of participants has been drawn to maintenance of a high level of protection of radio facilities. In particular, RCC Council has approved “Recommendations for interaction in the radio control and joint investigation of clutters”, allowing to considerably simplify procedures of revealing of sources of harmful clutters of operating “RES” and to take timely measures on their elimination.
A significant value has been given to the interaction of preparation for the international actions of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and work on preparation to the World Radio Communication conference of 2007 have been discussed and approved. The decision to inform other regional organizations about position of “RCC” and agenda of the forthcoming meeting was accepted.
Considering the necessity of acceleration of the introduction of digital broadcasting for the RCC countries-participants, the Council has charged executive committee to prepare offers on carrying out of a seminar on these issues with participation of the radio communication Bureau and “ITU” telecommunication development Bureau.
The decision about inclusion of the “Intersputnik” International organization of space communication in “RCC” is adopted. Today the members of Regional Communication Commonwealth are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Latvia, Slovenia as observers and also representatives of the ITU, the World Post Union , Executive committee of the CIS and Electronic Communications Agency of Macedonia.
