awarded winners of Atirgul contest among representatives of the mass media, traditionally
held by Uzbekistan’s
Creative Union of Journalists.
The UZ domain
zone surmounted the mark of 10,000 domain names in February, 2010. According to
statistics, the mark of 9,000 domain names was surmounted on 28 September,
2009.

journalists are attached an extraordinary priority these days around. An
encouraging environment is being arranged for their fruitful activity. Youth
studios have been instituted at the regional centers of Kelajak Ovozi on the
basis of local TV and radio stations. Students from various educational
establishments acquire practical journalist skills there. New studios with all
necessary technical facilities were built for them with the support of local
nongovernmental television stations. Seminar trainings and media forums are
held to enhance quality of youth programs.
Centers for children’s artistic creativity multiply
across the country

region. With the emergence of such hubs, children and youngsters can acquire
new knowledge and attend various hobby clubs close to home.
