International Islam Karimov Kurash Tournament takes place in Thessaloniki, Greece

The second largest city in Greece, which bears a
title of the northern capital, had gathered eighth time the fans of traditional
tournament named after the President of Uzbekistan and the honorary president
of the International Kurash Association (IKA).
Denis Istomin got in the main draw in singles
and doubles, his team mate Farrukh Dustov and Akgul Amanmuradova played in
qualifiers, while Sabina Sharipova and Temur Ismailov played in junior
tournaments.
MatchWorldCup 2012, held in Dubai, had gathered
eight teams including Uzbek Olympic team and Bunyodkor FC, four-time champion
of Uzbekistan.
Both teams were reached prizewinning places.
