The announcement of Bunyodkor of Tashkent and Uzbekistan national team midfielder Server Djeparov as the best player of Asia became a historic event: it is the first time when Uzbek player gets such recognition. The recognition was another evidence of progress of Uzbek football, which is persistently aspiring to high world borders.
Participants of the 5th youth world kurash championship, who gathered in Istanbul from all continents, were the first to try out Bahchelivler sports hall, which was just solemnly opened by Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Erdogan a week before the championship.

Capital’s Bunyodkor, which won the Cup and the Championship of Uzbekistan this season, has solemnly celebrated this significant event for a team which recently entered the country’s football scene.
Uzbekistan youth football team has come back heroes from Saudi Arabia: the silver medals they won along with the right to play on the World Cup 2009 became most significant achievement of Uzbek football after the national team’s win on the 12th Asian Games in Hiroshima in 1994.
The last match of the 28th week of Uzbekistan Championship Bunyodkor – Andijan named the new champion of the country. Bunyodkor, which is playing its second season in the supreme league, won the title ahead of schedule.
The ninth “Suv parisi” International Competitions took place in the pool of Uzbekistan sports complex of the capital. “Sog’lom avlod uchun” International Charitable Fund took the most active participation in its organization together with the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sport and the Synchronized Swimming Federation of Uzbekistan.
This season’s leader capital’s Bunyodkor not only shows aspiration to high goals on the pitch, but new approaches to organization of club football management, including working with the fans, as well.
