of one of the largest tennis tournaments BNP Paribas Open, Indian Wells, with a
prize pool of $5,536,664, against Sun Yan-Lu from Chinese Taipei.

ATP SAP Open with a prize pool of $531,000 in San Jose, CA, became one
of the most successful tournaments for the strongest tennis player of Uzbekistan
Denis Istomin. It is his second final in
his career in the competitions of this level. This result brought Istomin 150
points and allowed to return to the top-50 ranking of the Association of Tennis
Professionals, jumping 12 steps at once. Now Denis takes 49th place.
