consecutive victories over the national team of Malaysia,
they secured a spot in the Asia Cup final that will be held in Qatar in two

processes of sports development on the continent. The organization’s proactive
approach is particularly reflected in packing the schedule of continental
competitions with such large and prestigious multi-events like the Asian Games.

Conceived
in the beginning of new century and officially established at the 21st General
Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Busan, October 2002, the Asian
Indoor Games have become an important reality in the sports life of the
continent. And if the first Games held in 2005 gathered athletes from 37
countries in Bangkok, in 2007 there was a full
quorum in Macau - all 45 Asian NOC sent their
representatives to the second event.

in top 16 of the continent

Beijing
and Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Kathmandu, Sana’a Yemen and the Emirates’ Al Ain,
Filipino Bacolod and even Australia’s Canberra
took on their stadiums 16-year-old players of 42 countries that challenged for
the right to participate in the final stage of Asia
Cup next year. Qualification tournaments identified 16 best teams, including
the youth team of Uzbekistan.
