Uzbekistan Olympic football team has won first place at the recent international
tournament in Kiev
in the memory of an outstanding player and coach Valeriy Lobanovsky.
12 Uzbek athletes, including two-time world
champion and winner of the 16th Asian Games Vadim Menkov, will
participate in rowing and canoeing world championship that started on August 17
in Szeged, Hungary.
