Alisher Daniyarov, UT
Only half a year has passed since the triumph
of Uzbek boxers at the world championship in Milan. Yet in sports one can not rest long

Games to be held in Guangzhou,
China, in
November this year, and the World Championship in 2011.

the inimitable gymnast Olga Korbut. Perhaps the same could have been said about
the 15-year-old Aziza Mamajanova, if the strict rules of rhythmic gymnastics
would not have special demands on hairstyles of athletes. But the fact that
little Aziza really is a small Uzbek miracle was, probably, obvious to all
viewers who visited the Asian Championship at Universalniy
Sports Palace
in Tashkent.
