Tashkent

into Law on Competition that comes in force to replace the outdated 1996 Law on
Competition and Restriction of Monopolistic Activity on Commodity Markets.

On the threshold
of the New Year it is a tradition to analyze the work done in the course of the
whole year: what has been done, and what is still has to be done? The past
parliamentary year was filled with important legislative initiatives aimed at
deepening of democratic reforms, further upgrade of the country, and increase
of people’s welfare.
