Prerequisite for Sustainable Development and Modernization of the Country.
Eldar Rakhmatullayev, UT
Reforming and development of education system,
preparation of Uzbekistan’s
new generation of professionals became priority of state policy since the
earliest days of independence. This choice is explained by the fact that over
62% of the population is young people under the age of 30. In current conditions
only those countries can achieve the objectives of democratic development,
modernization and renewal where among the main priorities stand human capital,
training of an educated and intellectually advanced generation.
Results and
prospects for further work were analyzed at regular session of Children’s
Sports Development Foundation Board of Trustees.
Sergey Danilov,
UT
From the earliest days of Uzbekistan’s
independence fostering highly spirited, physically robust and harmoniously
developed young generation is one of the most important goals of the country.
The country's leadership credits the grandiose plans in reaching new highs in
the economy, industry, agriculture and social sector with young citizens of Uzbekistan,
from whom the future of the motherland will depend on. Consistent and
deliberate steps made to achieve this goal are filled with concrete and truly
large-scale works. One of the most important among them is to attract young
Uzbeks to physical training and sports.
President Islam Karimov addressed the meeting
of the Cabinet of Ministers to revisit the year 2011 and outline Uzbekistan’s
socio-economic development priorities for 2012.

New tax
benefits and preferences enter into force in Uzbekistan in 2012
Jamshid Ramziyev, UT
Sometimes tax system is unfairly called as a
burden. Meanwhile, it performs one of the most important functions in the
economy; it acts as a kind of circulatory system, regulating the direction of
financial flows. Tax system is what exactly stands for the growth of industrial
production, increases small businesses’ share in national economy, raises
foreign investment and supports Uzbekistan’s
strong social sector. New privileges and preferences granted to the business in
2012 have become another new confirmation of the stimulating role of the taxes.
On January 14, the country is to celebrate the

sovereignty and security of the country and its citizens.

Uzbekistan plans to implement fifty-five
projects for $1.7 billion
Rustam Abdullaev, UT
Light industry very often suffers from its ‘frivolous’
title. The name, however, veils modern production facilities that are hardly
inferior, sometimes even outdoing the level of technological advancements in
automotive industry and mechanical engineering. Today the textile industry is
among the leaders in attracting foreign investment and producing goods with
high added value. Its plans for the future include coming up with new brands to
offer, to make Uzbekistan
a prominent center of global fashion industry.
