Talented
composer Shuhrat Zokirov is recognized as “The Best Music Arranger of 2010” by the Ministry for Culture
and Sports Affairs. For the young musician this honorary title has become a big
stimulus for achieving new heights.
Modern musicians cope with this task quite
successfully. One of them is the composer and arranger Shuhrat Zokirov. His
music evokes patriotic feelings in people and inspires to noble acts. His songs
“Vatan”, “Navruz”, “Shodiyona”, “Laylom”, “Toma-toma”, “Eslanar”, “Olis
Yulduzim” embody spiritual qualities of our people.
“Thanks to care and attention of the
President Islam Karimov to the musical art our variety art develops on the
basis of national traditions,” says Shuhrat Zokirov. “It seems to me that life is
like melody, while people are its performers. In order to create a good song it
is necessary to have a good composer. Arrangement can not force the effect of
music to a person.”
The creativity of Shuhrat Zokirov testifies
his keen interest in music. In his childhood he attended the ensemble “Bulbulcha”,
directed by the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Shermat Yormatov. Then, he grasped
the bases of musical art in the Uspenskiy
Music School,
and later - in the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. Special role in advancing
the young composer’s talent belongs to the Honored Workers of Art of Uzbekistan
Dilorom Omonullayeva and Ofeliya Yusupova.
In 1997, while improving his skills Shuhrat
Zokirov took master class on piano from the French Professor Bernard Ringayzen
in Weimar, Germany.
The young composer has participated and won
in lots of musical competitions. Since 2000, he is a constant participant of
the festivities devoted to the celebration of Independence Day and Navruz.
His song “Bir Kam Dunyo” (All in the World Is
rather) turned popular with the people that formed in them a positive glance on
vital tests and difficulties. In 2006, this product was recognized as the best
soundtrack of the year by the Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan
Foundation.
Shuhrat Zokirov’ song “Buhoroga Qaytdi
Laylaklar” (Storks Returned to Bukhoro) performed by the winner of the “Nihol” Prize
Yulduz Turdiyeva at the opening ceremony of the monument “Ancient and Eternal
Bukhoro” that has been erected in the ancient city in 2010, has become an
embodiment of love and fidelity for the Home country, symbol of peace,
well-being and belief in the great future of the country.
Shuhrat Zokirov’s products created him a
glory of a fine musician, composer and arranger who brings his contribution to the
development of national variety art and shares delight and hopes with music
connoisseurs.
