Uzbekenergo JSC will introduce an automated control and electricity consumption record system (ACECCS) in its enterprises by the end of 2009.
The Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to improve electricity consumption control and record system” approved a schedule of ACECCS adoption in enterprises of the energy company.
In particular, it is projected to establish an integrated ACECCS network within a year which will include thirty one centers of information collection in power plants and arterial electric network substations as well as
12 800 consumption record devices in regional power supply networks and for corporate consumers.
The introduction of ACECCS is the first stage of the program on enhancement of the electricity record system.
It is planned to set up 308 900 electricity consumption record devices in business entities, 93 700 in transformer points of electric networks’ enterprises as well as 3.98 mln. consumption record devices in private residentials.
In accordance with the resolution of the government , starting July 1 the commissioning of new industrial and civil construction units will be implemented after installation of multifunctional electricity consumption record devices.
Starting from January 1, 2012, Uzbekenergo JSC will not supply electric power to business entities who have not installed the appropriate electronic devices and hardware complexes of electricity calculation.
Financing of the program is expected to be implemented by means of own funds of Uzbekenergo as well as with support of foreign investment and credits facilities.
