There will be multifunctional diagnostic instruments
of domestic production at the market of medical devices soon. The enterprise Supromed
is now preparing the launch their production. Today the team of it together
with the scientists of the Institute of Thermophysics of the Uzbek Academy of
Sciences finalize a model that will combine the functions of digital
electrocardiograph, encephalograph and rheograph, under a grant of the
Coordinating Committee for Science and Technology Development under the Cabinet
of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
“Our company is
engaged in production of various medical equipment over the past ten years. Our
electrocardiography, encephalography and rheography devices necessary for the
examination of the heart, brain and blood vessels are in demand in the country,”
says Husan Hamidov, the deputy director of the Supromed company. “And we
continue to constantly improve the equipment. So having started with analog
single-channel electrocardiographs, now we produce digital 12-channel devices
with the connection to a computer in accordance with the world requirements.”
According to the
developers, combining electrocardiograph, encephalograph and rheograph in a
multifunctional device will solve the urgent task of the scientists and
doctors. Today the medical institutions of the country purchasing the medical
devices pay attention not only to the technical parameters and features, which
include accuracy, possibility to save the data in computer memory, but also to
the easiness of use. The small-sized devices that are easy to transport and
store are also in demand.
“We try to make
our device simple and easy to use,” explains Farhad Radjabov. “It is designed
and decorated so that everything will assist the doctor. We have even equipped
it with sensors that will indicate whether the measurements and examination is carried
out in accordance with the requirements. This is essential to avoid possible
medical errors.
Besides, we will
equip the device with additional functions sensors. Thus, it will be possible
to measure the pressure and temperature of the patient during the
electrocardiography, encephalography or rheography.
