Every February, the people of Uzbekistan widely celebrate two events - the birthdays of two famous and respected poets - Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur. In this respect, the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan opens the personal exhibition of Temur Sa’dulla entitled as “Recollecting Our Ancestors”.
Patriotism, buoyancy, ability to understand and value cultural and spiritual heritage - these qualities are felt in each works of the gifted artist who imbibed them from his tutors. The well- known Uzbek artist Chingiz Ahmarov and expert in Navoiy lyrics Professor Khamid Suleymanov have played a considerable role in the artist’s creativity. Being a teacher and instructor for the young artist, Chingiz Ahmarov subsequently made some joint creative compositions with him - wall paintings that now decorate the Abu Rayhon Beruniy Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Abu Ali ibn Sino Palace of Culture in Bukhoro, and others. Chingiz Ahmarov has made a major influence on the formation of Temur Sa’dulla’s creative path, favoring the revelation of the artist’s talent. According to his master’s advice, the young artist entered the Art Graphics Faculty of the Tashkent Pedagogical University. When the promising artist chose “Navoi Lyrics” as the theme of his diploma, Chingiz Ahmarov acquainted him with Khamid Suleymanov, a well-known expert, connoisseur of the great poet’s creativity who later offered Temur Sa’dulla a job in the Alisher Navoi State Museum of Literature.
“I was inspired with the life and creativity of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Bobur since long time,” admitted Temur Sa’dulla. “They are a worthy example for the youth. Their creativity will always be of a great importance in spiritual-ethical education of the growing generation.”
Temur Sa’dulla is a member of the Creative Association of Uzbekistan of the Academy of Arts, the winner of the “Ofarin” Prize, awarded for his high artistic talent in embodying the images of outstanding historic figures of our country. He was also decorated with the silver medal of the Academy of Arts for the contribution to the modern art of Uzbekistan. His awesome works take a worthy place in the State Museum of Arts and in the Alisher Navoi State Museum of Literature. Temur Sa’dulla is the participant of many republican, regional and foreign exhibitions.
The current exposition of the artist consists of 26 products, as well as several books of Alisher Navoi and Zahirriddin Muhammad Bobur illustrated by the author. Pieces from the literary works of the prominent poets could be seen there, as well as works informing about their lives.
