Intensive creation of medical establishments engaged in science and treatment at the same time, began in 1998 after implementation of the State Healthcare Reform Program. Currently centers of emergency medical aid, surgery, cardiology, urology, eye microsurgery function effectively. Works on organizing the activity of such centers as obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, therapy and pulmonology, dermatology and venereology, endocrinology are in progress.
Huge attention is paid to establishment and development of centers in regions. Regional diversified medical centers including children’s and diagnostic ones are flourishing now. They provide high technological aid to the population.
The centers promote development of high technological healthcare in the country and improvement of the quality of medical service to the population, as high concentration of patients with one-type diseases allows us to efficiently improve the rendered medical aid, maintain high professional level of medical staff and effectively use expensive medical equipment.
It is very important that such medical establishments create additional comfort for patients: they receive the whole complex of necessary diagnostics, consultation and treatment at one place.
