Tashkent opened a new building of
medical and social center of the Soglom avlod uchun fund. The construction of the
building and equipping of it with medical machinery were implemented with the
assistance of the Korean Foundation for International Healthcare – the foundation
for the memory of Dr. Lee Jong Wook, the Community Chest of Korea fund and the
Tashkent city administration.
The construction
of a new object of medical and social center is a significant event in the
healthcare of our country. It is the result of the agreement of participants in
the construction of cooperation signed March 22, 2010
“We are pleased with
our successful cooperation, which is based on maternal and child health protection,
promotion of healthy generation,” said the president of the Korean foundation
Han Kwang Soo. “And we hope for its further expansion.”
“Some of the
important tasks of our center is training and education of young mothers, improvement
of the health of women and children, creation of a healthy climate in the
family, and the prevention of various diseases,” said the head of the medical
and social center Hotam Rizayev.
