An International Industrial Fair and Cooperation

The
principal mission of the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation
Exchange, sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Economic
Relations, Investment and Trade, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the
Republic, is the development of intra- and inter-sectoral interaction,
introduction to products manufactured in the country, assistance in serching
for partners and conclusion of commercial contracts among national producers.
In accordance with
the Presidential decree “On the program of measures to support manufacturing
enterprises, ensure their stable operation and increase export capacity”,
industrial fairs and cooperation exchanges regularly conducted in Uzbekistan are
given international status from 2009.
By addressing the
challenges of manufacturers’ further development, the International Industrial
Fair and Cooperation Exchange contributes to the formation and expansion of
long-term economic ties, ensures free access of enterprises to the necessary
raw materials and credit resources through intra-, inter-sectoral and
international cooperation.
Industrial Fair and
Cooperation Exchange is conducted in two phases: the first covers specialized
exhibitions and fairs and the second stage includes international
cross-sectoral industrial fair and cooperation exchange.
Within industrial
fairs, leading industries of the republic, small businesses, display products
categorized by sectors. Exploration, mining and processing of mineral
resources; high technologies, automobile, aircraft, agricultural machinery;
electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, light industry; food processing; building
materials; printing; transportation; engineering and others are widely
presented at the fair.
Members and
visitors of the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange taking
part in presentations of industries and businesses, get familiar with their
technical and technological opportunities, exchange experiences and
achievements in the field of production.
Information
exchange helps establish new and expand existing cooperation ties for the
development of new types of goods, contracting supply or purchase of raw
materials, components and finished goods for processing and technical purposes.
Assessing the needs
of industries, companies have an opportunity to outline prospects, plan
production and develop a portfolio of orders for their own produce for the next
year.
Purchases of
equipment, components, raw and processed materials produced by domestic
enterprises is carried out within the International Industrial Fair and
Cooperation Exchange for all national consumers through direct contracts
without additional tenders.
