The Youth Theater of Uzbekistan has opened the New Year
performances. The program for children includes the premiere of Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs to fairytale by the Brothers Grimm.
The Sixth Scientific and Practical Conference Avicenna
Readings on ‘The legacy of great scholar Ibn Sino and modern medicine’ took
place in Bukhoro on December 16-17 It was dedicated to the significance of the
medical heritage of our ancestor in the global medicine development.

The presentation of tourism potential of Uzbekistan in the U.S.
capital was organized by the Uzbek embassy with the assistance of International
Club DC.
It brought together representatives of the U.S. travel agencies, public,
academic and business communities, as well as mass media.

The Union of Writers of Uzbekistan
together with the Fund Ijod has organized the second Republican seminar of
young people of letters in the House of Creativity Durmon. The action was
attended by writers, poets, literature experts, tutors from higher education
institutions and creative youth.
The Association of European Union National
Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) has been opened in Tashkent by the British Council,
Goethe Institute and French Institute in Uzbekistan.
The winter season of the School for Young
Entrepreneurs is to be completed soon within which the trainings for 50
youngsters of Uzbekistan
engaged in entrepreneurship has been organized.
