Recently the Samarkand State Reserve-Museum hosted a Republican seminar titled “Museum training: new processes, modern technologies” dedicated to the 2750th anniversary of the city. Museum workers from all provinces participated in the seminar. The training program of the seminar was filled to every day and covered all methods and technologies of museum business. For the first time in Tashkent the great German composer Johannes Brahms’s well-known choral work “A German Requiem” (Ein deutsches Requiem) sounded on the stage of Big Hall, Uzbek State Conservatory. The concert was organized with the support of German Embassy in Tashkent and German Economic Club in Uzbekistan.
