Federation Council of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan together
with the regional affiliate of trade unions has organized the round table
discussions in Samarqand.
Within the distinctive project Meetings with
Music initiated by the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan and Public Museum of
Suleyman Yudakov there have been organized a number of interesting creative
evenings where connoisseurs of modern music had the opportunity to meet with
their favorite composers and musicians. This time the organizers invited the
renowned composer Dmitry Yan-Yanovsky.
Admirers of the talent of genius poet-thinker,
founder of Uzbek literary language and renowned statesman Alisher Navoi have
gathered at the artistic-literary meeting that took place in the Tashkent House of
Photography timed to his 571st date of birth. Within the event there
was held the opening of the exhibition Flower of Eternity occasioned to the
outstanding forefather’s creativity.
Zohid Haqnazarov has presented his book at the
State Conservatory of Uzbekistan
Significant moments in music life of Uzbekistan are
linked with the name of this Uzbek conductor. He conducted premieres of major
compositions of Uzbek and foreign composers, Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan
performed symphonies of Mirsodiq Tojiev, and he conducted at the premiere of the
first Uzbek national comic ballet Trick of Nasriddin.

College of Olympic
Reserves. Renowned wrester in Greco-Roman style, silver medalist of the Olympic
Games in Montreal,
twice world champion and winner of European Championships Nelson Davidyan
conducted master class for future ace wrestlers.
Within next few days connoisseurs of classic
music are expected plenty of new surprises. The State Conservatory of Uzbekistan will
host a number of concerts with participation of popular ensembles, talented
musicians and laureates of international contests.
From January 25 to March 1, 2012, the Russian Cultural Center
is organized the photo contest Mother and Child timed to the Year of Family,
which the year 2012 was announced. The artistic competition, participated by
amateur photographers of Uzbekistan,
is called to form the respectful attitude to motherhood and childhood, increase
the status of the institute of family and poetize the imagery of birth of new
life.
