A therapeutic
device FDU-1 was developed at the Tashkent
Medical Academy
to help with treatment of a range of diseases, including hepatitis and AIDS.
The therapeutic effect
is achieved by a photodynamic impact on the body. The developers are confident
that the device will be requisite by dermatologists, surgeons, gynecologists,
oncologists and infectious disease specialists when treating skin diseases, mucous
membranes, septic and infectious viral diseases and cancer. Specialists are
currently working on preparing the device for batch production.
