A woman who was infected with leukemia in her pregnancy and her baby were saved for the first time in Uzbekistan. The medical staff of Scientific Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion fought for her life.
Uzbekistan pays special attention to the health promotion of workers, influenced by harmful factors of industry. It helped to decrease the number of new cases of occupational diseases in last six years from 484 to 120.
