“Since the inception of the idea of ​​creating such a drug before entering the pharmaceutical market, "suktsinasol" has been more than twenty years. This is the first drug designed in our laboratory, blood substitutes during country independence, but not the last, - the director of the institute, Hamid Karimov. - Before being included in the list of essential medicines, suktsinasol widely used in the clinics of the country and conclusion of physicians as an effective tool for a wide range of medical problems. All this is aimed at the completion of our other developments from our laboratory that can solve a number of pressing health problems.

“More than twenty years have passed from the inception of the idea of ​​creating this kind of drug to entering of Suktsinasol the pharmaceutical market. This is the first medicine developed in our blood substitute’s laboratory during the country’s independence, but far not the last,” believes Khamid Karimov, the director. “Suktsinasol had been widely used in the country’s hospitals and proved by physicians as an effective solution of a wide range of medical problems before it was included in the list of essential medicines. This is a good motivation for finalization of other products of our laboratory that might solve a number of pressing problems of medicine.”

Larisa Shevchenko, the head of the laboratory told about the products in detail. Preparation for the production of Eritroamin is almost finished. This product contains all amino acids necessary for the biosynthesis, and it can compensate protein deficiency in patients. Such a blood substitute is requisite in surgery for pre-operative and postoperative management of patients. Yantaroprotein, a solution of succinic acid and cow colostrum proteins is close to the launch of production. The drug has immunomodulatory, hemostimulatory, anti-inflammatory, anticancer and antioxidant effect, it is capable to enhance tissue regeneration, restore metabolic processes at the cellular and tissue level.

“We continue researching on the effectiveness of Biogemodez, another product, in various pathological conditions,” emphasized Larisa Shevchenko. “It might become a worthy alternative to polyvinylpyrrolidon, better known as gemodez, that was withdrawn from production because of adverse effects identified. Our product with its complex compound of poly-N-vinylpyrrolidone with amino acid side groups has a good detoxication effect, immunostimulating activity, it is non-toxic, and it is completely gone out of the body within six hours.
