The Zoology Museum of the Samarqand State University is one
of the oldest of a kind. It was established in 1934. Its collection counts more
than five thousand exhibits, most of which are singular.

specialists from general schools of the republic. It appears that quite
frequently children write about changes occurred in places they live where
industrial projects put into exploitation.
It is already sixteen years since the establishment of the
Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Within this period
about two thousand undergraduates, Candidate’s and Doctor of sciences have been
trained here. Moreover, about thousand and a half heads from the
banking-financial sphere underwent advanced training in the academy. Meanwhile,
the education institution has a number of singularities making it distinguished
from other higher educational institutions.
Jizzakh is
one of the centers of higher education of the country. Youngsters from all
areas of the republic come here to study in the region’s Pedagogical and
Polytechnic Institutes, while the higher educational institutions strengthen
their positions as the centers of development of education and economy
sectors.
After complete overhaul of the building the
Samarqand Barkamol Avlod regional center has been opened. The director of the
center Gulshat Babajanova dwells upon how the main ideas of the program on
reformation of out-of-school education have been implemented there.
The number of tutors who underwent advanced training
through distance learning has exceeded 1,200. The system is actively used by
representatives of Karakalpakstan, Bukhoro, Namangan and Khorazm regions.

All-round
conditions are created in the country for the youngsters to get education and
specialties. UT correspondent has received another confirmation when he
together with representatives of the regional administration of secondary
special, professional education visited the Jizzakh College of Transport and
Communication, the Pakhtakor Agricultural College
located in the desert area and Ghallaorol
Industrial College
in the mountain area. These three colleges, as other similar educational
institutions, operate in their normal course: classes, strengthening
material-technical base and improvement of learning process.
