Professional colleges dealing with preparation
of specialists for building and public services have started delivering new
training equipments unique for the country. It reminds a construction set from
which student would frame the assigned models, then take them to peaces and
again to frame other models. All this process is fully identical to that work
the specialists carry out in their professional activity.

to the tradition, February for schoolchildren is the most eventful month with
various actions dedicating to great Uzbek poets Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad
Bobur. This year, the ninth grader Bobur Shokirov from the Tashkent school ¹128 has got prepared to
these quite extraordinarily. With the help of social networks like “odnoklassniki”,
“facebook”, and “twitter” he gathered the collection of photos on Bobur that he
received from his foreign pen pals.
One university, engineering-technological and
engineering-pedagogical institutes operate in Namangan region. The Program on Modernization
of Economic-Technical Capacities of Higher Educational Institutions and
Cardinal Improvement in Training Specialists for 2011-2016 has become an
incentive for their development. Complete
overhaul of buildings, beautification of adjacent territories, equipment of rooms
with computers, electronic boards, systems “Teacher 60”, renewal of training
laboratories, establishment of new contacts with foreign partners – all this
favors the strengthening of positions of higher educational institutions as
centers for preparation of young specialists and reliable partners of
enterprises and organizations of the economy sectors.
International conference “Nurturing Educated
and Intellectually Advanced Generation as the Critical Prerequisite for
Sustainable Development and Modernization of the Country” is to be organized
February 16-17, within which presentation of main achievements and further ways of implementation of the
National Program on Training Cadres is to be held.
In Uzbekistan even more teachers try
to use creative approach to the introduction of information-educational
technologies in school life. As a result, unconventional solutions making
classes more interesting and content-rich grow in number. It has been
demonstrated at the annual special contest among teachers organized by the
Ministry of Public Education. This year it gathered participants more than in the
previous year by third.
Andijon region is considered the major

Specialized Boarding School of Advanced Linguistics ¹62 in Quva
district, Farghona region, publishes a monthly student’s newspaper Iqtidor
(Talent) which for two years of existence has become an important element of
teaching infrastructure of the education institution.
1,168 schools are projected to receive PCs in 2012. As a result, the
number of schools equipped with cutting-edge computer classes is to reach 8,484.
Expert at the Ministry of Public Education Qadambay Saytov tells the UT about
computers of what modification are preferred for introduction in schools.
Recently
the Qushkupir Plant that produces lime-sand bricks has introduced the
technology offered by the Urganch
State University.
The new technology allows in production of cell concretes to replace
quartz sand with loess and loess-like loams. This is another example of how
student’s solutions of practical tasks could flow into the solution of pressing
issues in production.
