Box of rewards obtained by Uzbekistan’s representatives in subject
international Olympiads has replenished with two medals brought from Moscow by the country’s
national team where the 45th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad
among schoolchildren wrapped up.
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special
Education has revisited another examination of content of book funds of
information-resource centers of professional colleges, academic lyceums and
higher education institutions. The deputy director of the Center for Higher and
Secondary Special, Professional Education Development Edem Azizovich Seytkhalilov
provides UT correspondent with details of this work.
Information-resource centers of the country are
to create 1,815 halls of electronic libraries by the end of the 2015, while 1,797
of which will function under the information-resource centers of the institutions
system of the Ministry of Public Education and Ministry of Higher and Secondary
Special Education.
Celebrated scientist-linguist from Andijon State University
Abduhamid Nurmanov is the author of textbooks on natural language for
schoolchildren of 5-, 6-, 7-, and 9th grades of schools with Uzbek
language teaching, as well as of three-volume textbook on modern Uzbek meant
for academic lyceums.
Authors of 200 developments from 500,
represented in the recently held Republican Fair of innovative ideas,
technologies and projects, are academics from higher education institutions.
These developments include rationalization proposals for almost all sectors of
the country’s economy.
By the end of the current year more than 400
thousand school teachers are to take part in training seminars addressing the
issues of further introduction to the learning process of
information-communication technologies.
One of the main tasks of the new system of
monitoring the compliance of the learning process with state education
standards introduced by the Ministry of Public Education is discovering and
supporting of students keen in advanced study of disciplines. UT correspondent

forms of training applied in higher education institutions for engaging the
youth in professional activity. The second student’s media-conference organized
by the online journalism department of the National
University of Uzbekistan was
aimed at promoting the development of online journalism in the country.
