Alternative to full-time advanced training
 The number of tutors who underwent advanced training through distance learning has exceeded 1,200. The system is actively used by representatives of Karakalpakstan, Bukhoro, Namangan and Khorazm regions.
The results were taken to the sum of the first year of the work of the system of distance learning of advanced training of school teachers. The decision on exploitation of the system was made after successful conduction of the experiment by the Ministry of Public Education in 2010. It is called to create favorable conditions for school teachers for they can undergo advanced trainings ones in three years in the form available.
“The first year turned quite complicated: in parallel with work there were eliminated technical defects and mistakes in learning materials made during the creation of the network,” noted the director of the Center for Distance Learning at the Central Institute of Advanced Training of Public Education Workers Mahfirat Abdullaeva. “Today, we can say for sure that Uzbekistan has the network of distance learning for school teachers that is applied successfully. I consider teachers preferring to use distance form of advanced training will grow in number.”
Every teacher can undergo the course of advanced learning distantly by using the website www.ntk.uz. For the convenience of people living in remote and heard-to-reach areas there have been created five resource centers in all regions where teachers are ready to help those who have difficulties in using the network.
