The number of tutors who underwent advanced training
through distance learning has exceeded 1,200. The system is actively used by
representatives of Karakalpakstan, Bukhoro, Namangan and Khorazm regions.
The results
were taken to the sum of the first year of the work of the system of distance
learning of advanced training of school teachers. The decision on exploitation
of the system was made after successful conduction of the experiment by the
Ministry of Public Education in 2010. It is called to create favorable
conditions for school teachers for they can undergo advanced trainings ones in
three years in the form available.
“The first
year turned quite complicated: in parallel with work there were eliminated
technical defects and mistakes in learning materials made during the creation
of the network,” noted the director of the Center for Distance Learning at the
Central Institute of Advanced Training of Public Education Workers Mahfirat Abdullaeva.
“Today, we can say for sure that Uzbekistan has the network of
distance learning for school teachers that is applied successfully. I consider
teachers preferring to use distance form of advanced training will grow in
number.”
Every
teacher can undergo the course of advanced learning distantly by using the
website www.ntk.uz. For the convenience of
people living in remote and heard-to-reach areas there have been created five
resource centers in all regions where teachers are ready to help those who have
difficulties in using the network.
