The opening of a solo exhibition Impulse of
Color of a singular painter Bobur Muhamedov at the Gallery of Visual Arts has
turned an interesting event in cultural life of the capital.
The
exhibition contains of canvases of the painter made in various periods of his
life. One can see in the works the influence of Western European art of the
beginning of the 20th century, in particular, the German
expressionism. The author goes that bright color harmonization and mysterious
compositions are called to effect to unconsciousness of visitors, and at the
same time, are the reflection of his inner world and imagination: he intended
to depict those colorful moments of life and reflect them in a special, individual
perspective.
“To say
that Bobur Muhamedov has a rich inner world is not enough, because his canvases
depict not only thoughts and feelings, plots and motifs, but those fleeting
motions occurring at our subconscious state. It is too deep for words, yet possible
by means of drawing,” considers Doctor of Arts Kamola Akilova. “It is no wonder
that his works enjoy great popularity with European fine art admirers. They are
free of plot, order, yet rich of peculiar emotions and logic of composition.”
Bobur Muhamedov
is a bright representative of the middle generation of Uzbek painters. He
started his artistic path in the middle of the 90s, in the period of revival of
spiritual and cultural values of the Uzbek people, national traditions in fine
arts. All this had its impact on the creative individuality of the master that
interweaved western and eastern elements.
Bobur
Muhamedov is the graduate of the Art and graphic department of the Tashkent pedagogical
Institute. It was here he studied the foundations of his future profession and
determined with the direction in his creativity. He participated in various
republican and international exhibitions. The products of the artist are kept
in private collections in countries throughout the world.
