The exhibition of works by the Japanese
painter-graphic artist, adherent of ukiyo-e style, master of colored woodblock
prints (xylography) Hiroshige Utagawa (1797-1858) has opened in the capital’s
Ikuo Hirayama International Caravansarai of Culture.
Among the
displayed canvases those lyrical small-scale landscapes with genre motifs
prevail that were created in the way of classical Japanese painting. The
painter’s exact depiction of the state of nature is of special impression. The
exhibition has become another step in the development of international cultural
ties, familiarization of the people of Uzbekistan with the world artistic
heritage.
