The National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan is on the scene. All musicians welcome the “conductor”. He needs a high conductor’s stand to be seen for musicians of the orchestra, because he is very young, the “conductor” is in reality a 10 or 12-year old boy. Number of concerts was held in Tashkent in participation of the National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan and the Youth Orchestra. The last one was in the Uspensky Musical College named with young talented “conductors” leading the orchestra. They all are the apprentices of the honored artist and conductor of the National Symphonic Orchestra Vladimir Borisovich Neymer.

Popular Uzbek singer Sogdiana is to hit Russia’s music channels with another top-of-the-chart song as the 22-year-old pop-star enters the list of recognized nominees for the Russian prize “Zvukovaya Dorozhka-2006” (Soundtrack-2006). According to Russian paper “Muzykalnaya gazeta”(Music Newspaper), she could win the nomination “Soloist of the Year 2006”. Such prominent singers as Kristina Orbakayte, Valeriya, Janna Friske and Larisa Dolina are also reported to be contestants for this prize.
