The Gallery of Fine Arts is hosting the solo
exhibition of a singular painter of the present Seyran Kurtjemil. The author
has represented the diversity of forms, images and color gamut reflecting his
artistic individuality and creative world vision.
Last year the theater life, as usual, was
bright and eventful, full of new interesting premieres, creative meetings,
singular staging and grandiose events of international scales. Various theaters
located in all regions demonstrated more than nine thousand plays, performed
over 150 new productions, about hundred of which staged on the basis of
national playwrights.
The sixth annual ceremony of awarding prizes in
music, TV and video art M&TVA 2011 has taken place in the Turkiston Arts
Palace in Tashkent
with participation of honored art figures of Uzbekistan and young beginning
artists. There were awarded 17 traditional prizes in various nominations and
one new – Discovery of the Year. Fund Forum, Guild of Authors and Performers
and TVM television channel acted the constitutors of the M&TVA Prize.
The Central Exhibition Hall of Uzbekistan’s Academy of Arts
has hosted a festive evening. Academicians and People’s Artists, celebrated
masters, graphic art gurus, sculptors and talented young painters gathered here
to revisit the passing year 2011.
For several months the young dancers and
musicians, singers and painters, actors and poets from all parts of the country
have been competing within the most prestigious contest for discovering gifted
children – Yangi Avlod children’s art festival. And, at last, the long-awaited
republican round has come after which winners announced. They were awarded at
the final gala-concert took place in the capital’s Istiqlol Palace.

My Motherland Uzbekistan exposition opened at
the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan to the
Constitution Day represents the whole range of colors, feelings and emotions
associating in authors with home place. Products of young painters harmoniously
combine in the exposition with canvases of celebrated art masters.

Higher School of National Dance and Choreography since its opening on December
12, 1947. Celebrating the date, we recollect the most significant events in
chronology of formation and development of the Terpsichore temple in Uzbekistan.
On the eve of a major occasion the Uspensky
Republican Specialized Music Academic lyceum has organized the concert with
participation of the orchestra of national instruments Shodiyona, as well as
young laureates of republican and international competitions. The event’s
special guests were the winners of the city round of Yangi Avlod 2011 children’s
art festival.

Arts Gallery in Tashkent
hosts a jubilee exhibition of works by the master through years of his bright

A group of young musicians, students of the
Uspensky Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum expressed their
aspiration for combating one of the global threats of the modern world – spread
of AIDS/HIV. Students have chosen rather unconventional method through
organizing a concert of classical music devoted to this burning issue.
