Tashkent hosted the premiere of “The Fan” based on the Italian dramatist Carlo Goldoni’s play. Initially, his play was written for drama theaters, thereupon, an experiment of Ovlyakuli Hojakuli who risked staging “The Fan” at the Operetta Theater is worth intent attention. It was not the only method used by the Tashkent director to surprise spectators seen the performance.

He is very modest but enjoyed an enviable popularity of actor. He is a man of wide soul and high culture, being attentive to all. Moreover, he is much devoted to his favorite business - theater. In his 70th anniversary People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Yakub Ahmedov refused pomposity and any other ceremonies. He just came to the theater, where he works and that has been his second home for more than half of a century and its staff his friendly family. He worked as usual there.

The Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan hosts an exhibition of the Samarkand State Reserve Museum. It exposes unique picturesque creations of talented Russian artists who lived and created on the Uzbek land in different periods of time.

The Exhibition Hall of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan hosted an exhibition of national musical instruments. This unique expo was organized on the initiative of Ministry of Culture and Sports and gathered in one place masters from Karakalpakstan, regions of Uzbekistan, and Tashkent city. More than two hundred instruments displayed in the exposition are considered as real work of art.
