Seoul has hosted the
remarkable presentation of Uzbek ikat “Uzbek Fashion Blue and Green
Endless Silk Road”. The event was organized
by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of
Uzbekistan, The Fund Forum jointly with the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and
the Association of Designers of the Republic of Korea.
The Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts
of Uzbekistan
becomes a venue for the personal exhibition Afrosiyob Legends by the ceramic
master, the academician Sharif Azimov. Here visitors receive genuine aesthetic
delight, contemplating those absolutely perfect shapes of jugs, pots, glasses
and vases made from clay by the master hands who breathe new life to lumps of
clay.
The wonderful evening of piano music has been
presented to the music connoisseurs by the laureate of international contests,
the pianist Lola Rasulova. The products of world classics were performed within
the concert’s program accompanied by the chamber ensemble Classic under the
direction of Madat Hudoybergenov.
Five Uzbek
pianists returned from Romania
with an astounding triumph. They won five medals: three gold and two bronze
medals in the Pro-Piano Romania
international contest June 15-20, 2010. All of them are students of the Uspensky
Republican Special Music Academic Lyceum (URSMAL).
The bright gala-concert has wrapped up the 80th
theater season of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Opera and
Ballet. The leading opera and ballet performers of the country have another
time demonstrated their high professionalism. The audience highly evaluated the
refinement and grace, artistic skills and techniques of the actors expressing
it by storms of ovations.
At the completion of the 82nd season,
the Youth Theater of Uzbekistan has presented its spectators with delightful moments,
providing them with an opportunity to attend one of their favorite performances,
A Girl with Matches, that was included in the theater’s repertoire. Touching, a
bit cheerless, yet at the same time a bright story caught the fancy of both
children and grown-ups.
The Center
of National Arts has hosted the
presentation of the book Khorazm Tanbur Notation organized by the Fund Forum, Center of National Arts
and the Specialized Scientific Research
Center of Uzbekistan’s State Conservatory.
The reporting concert by Jasmim dancing band took
place in Tashkent.
Traditionally, in the beginning of summer, young actors demonstrate their
parents, relatives and friends all secrets of dancing art they grasped over the
last year.
