Uzbekistan delegation has presented the traditional national art in the Festival
of Handicrafts and Folklore Surajkund Mela that took place in the same-name
Indian settlement addressing the 20 years of establishment of diplomatic
relations between Uzbekistan
and India.
The performance
of the dancing collective under supervision of the choreographer, People’s
Artist of Uzbekistan Gavhar Matyoqubova was quite distinctive. The group
presented a peculiar Khorazm dance Lyazgi. Inflammatory national dance of the
Uzbek people taking the root in the far past enjoyed a huge success among the
Indian spectators. The festival participants noted that the Uzbek national
creativity is one of the most bewitching and singular in the world.
