Khorazm Dances in India
Uzbekistan delegation has presented the traditional national art in the Festival of Handicrafts and Folklore Surajkund Mela that took place in the same-name Indian settlement addressing the 20 years of establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and India.
The performance of the dancing collective under supervision of the choreographer, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Gavhar Matyoqubova was quite distinctive. The group presented a peculiar Khorazm dance Lyazgi. Inflammatory national dance of the Uzbek people taking the root in the far past enjoyed a huge success among the Indian spectators. The festival participants noted that the Uzbek national creativity is one of the most bewitching and singular in the world.
