Concert of National Symphonic Orchestra led by
Vladimir Neimer with participation of Nuron Muqumiy, laureate of international
contests and Yangi Avlod Children’s Art Festival, was organized at Uzbekistan
State Conservatory in tribute to the Honored Educator of Uzbekistan, Professor
Tamara Popovich.
The event
was arranged by the Fund Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan, Ministry of
Culture and Sports, Management of the National Symphonic Orchestra.
Despite his
young age Nuron Muqumiy is famous for high achievements both in Uzbekistan
and abroad. Since his yearly childhood in the Uspensky music school he was
trained by his dear teacher Tamara Popovich. First success he gained in 2004,
when the young piano player became laureate at the first Festival of Children’s
Creativity Yangi Avlod, then, he was awarded with a special prize of the
International Piano Contest Citta di Cantu in Italy, as well as the Fund Forum’s
grant. Nuron Muqumiy attended the International
Summer Music
School in London,
and then was admitted to the Higher School of Music and Performing Arts in Germany.
Later, the young piano play won his first prizes in the Mozart Piano Contest in
Rome and International Contest of Modern Music
in Switzerland, second prize
at the Ferencz Liszt International Contest in Weimar and other prizes. Nuron Muqumiy
repeatedly received invitations for participation in prestigious concerts and
festivals in UK, Germany, Italy,
Russia, USA, and performed with famous
orchestras of the world.
“For to
gain success one should train much, love and feel the music. My mother and
teachers always support me. Tamara Popovich played rather important role in my
life. She taught me for five years and I still keep using her method in
learning. The current concert I devote to the memory of this wonderful teacher
whom I respect hugely,” told Nuron Muqumiy.
The concert
program included the symphonic poem Preludes and Concert for piano with
orchestra №1 of the renowned Hungarian classic Ferencz Liszt, Concert for piano
with orchestra №1 of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, complicated product that was performed
by the young virtuoso without music book and evoked huge admiration in the
audience.
At the very
next day after the evening Nuron Muqumiy conducted a series of master classes
for students of the Uspensky Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum and
shared with them some secrets of skilful playing and his triumphs.
