Quite soon the Alisher Navoi State Academic
Grand Theater will present its admirers with the long-awaited staging of the
opera Troubadour by the well-known Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi (1813 -
1901).
The popular
opera for its two-century history has been staged across the globe for more
than two thousand times. One of the best theaters of Uzbekistan will present the opera’s
new version. The People’s Artist of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Firudin Safarov,
acted the production-director of the opera Troubadour, eager to bring the
audience the main ideas of the product that consist of triumph of love and
generosity over the evil, senselessness of revenge and hate the main heroes of
the staging seized with.
The Navoi
Theater troupe has worked for a long time and with diligence over the staging
of one of the most grandiose world operas, to which a number of celebrated
workers of culture and arts of Uzbekistan are involved: the People’s Artist
Dilbar Abdurahmonova, music supervisor and conductor at the opera, Honored
Worker of Art Davron Rajabov, also conductor, People’s Artist Sulaymon
Shodmonov – choirmaster of the opera and other high-profile artists. The
staging is expected to be interesting, breathtaking and full of surprises for
drama art connoisseurs.
