Graphic works by the talented artist Timur
Ahmedov have been displayed in the exhibition hall of the Ilhom Theater. This
time his creativity is presented in a new angle, and the exhibition visitors
have the opportunity to talk to the author in person.
The opening
of the exhibition was held in one of the frosty winter evening turning the
bright sheen of that cold day. It brought together high-profile culture and art
figures, friends and colleagues of the artist, as well as graphic art
connoisseurs, a kind of the fine art distinguishing with the use of lines,
strokes, spots and dots as the basic elements of expression. Unlike the
painting color in the graphic arts plays supporting role, while special
attitude to a depicting subject in respect to space is on the foreground.
However,
products by Timur Ahmedov harmoniously combine in themselves rich red, bright
ochre and Asian turquoise. The products of the author represent the synthesis
of European Art School
and Central Asian cultural traditions that could be observed by art experts. The
creativity of this artist features a special style with its finesse, bright
color, peculiar color combination, as well as sincerity and subtle irony.
Products by
Timur Ahmedov become the part of more than forty republican and foreign
exhibitions, including the exposition Master of Image of Uzbekistan, 1994,
exhibitions at the Filipp Gallery,
1999 and Peace & Color Gallery, 2000, took place in London. Timur Ahmedov is a constant
participant of traditional exhibitions of Uzbek artists at the Central House of
Artist in Moscow.
