Uzexpocenter held an exhibition organized for further development of trade and
economic cooperation between Uzbekistan
and Azerbaijan.
More than 170 companies and enterprises of energy, transport, construction and
food industries, information technology, healthcare, education, culture,
tourism and environment from all regions of Azerbaijan presented their products
here.
Farmers of Uzbekistan switch
to science-based farming

Training program for farmers is being
successfully implemented in Uzbekistan
through demonstration of best practices in the pedigree business and livestock
management. It was reported at the workshop that was held for farmers in
Kuyichirchik district of Tashkent region.
Ko’rgazma Savdo Markazi exhibition hall for the
second time hosted the international exhibition “Minitex.uz Industrial Products
and Equipment” organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan
jointly with the Uzbek-Chinese Trading House.
Aloqabank has 11.5 fold expanded its loan
portfolio in comparison to 2005. As of 1 October 2010 it exceeded 173 billion soums. 87% of it is
the investment loans. Aloqabank announced it at the two-day exhibition held in Ko’rgazma
savdo markazi hall on the bank’s fifteenth anniversary.
The country consistently implements a
large-scale work on drastic transformation of the appearance of our villages,
construction of modern houses with all conveniences.
For the nine months of 2010 the textile
enterprises of Uzbekengilsanoat national stock company put into use $70 million
of foreign investment. Dilbar Mukhamedova, the director of the general
forecasting and technology policy administration of Uzbekyengilsanoat reported
it at a press conference on the occasion of the opening in Tashkent of two Central Asian international exhibitions
“Textile Machinery and Technology” and “Textile and Fashion”.

Center hosted a business forum of representatives
of entrepreneur circles of Uzbekistan
and Estonia as a part of the
visit of Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia.
These days Uzexpocenter plays host for the Fourth
International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange. Success of previous
forums that had drawn considerable attention from local and foreign industries,
resulted in a presidential decree on the program of measures to support the manufacturing
sector of economy, ensure its steadfast operation and increase the nation’s export
capacities, thus granting the Republican Industrial Fair and Cooperation
Exchange an international status.
