O’zbekiston Temir Yo’llari national railway
company constructed the first kilometers of double track route section between
Yangiyer in Sirdaryo region and Jizzakh. It will cut the course and increase
the carrying capacity of the trains running from Tashkent to Samarqand and beyond.

among the specialists of air navigation companies.
March 4, 2011, Tashkent will host an
information seminar on the topic Introduction to the QMS in accordance with the
requirements of ISO 9001:2008 in the framework of the Strengthening of the
potential of enterprises of transport and logistics sector by introducing a
quality management system (QMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard
project.
Another segment of the Uzbek national highway commissioned
The 88-km
section of the Guliston-Ohangaron highway was constructed recently. Now it is
connected to Tashkent
– Olmaliq highway. The traffic between the Farg’ona Valley and other regions
will go on this new road. A big traffic flow will bypass Tashkent, and the path will be reduced by 61 kilometers.
The turnover of foreign exchange of the Uzbek
Republican Commodity Exchange reached $27 million in early 2011, a twofold increase of
figure of the same time span in last year.
